¡Willie Nile vuelve a España!
Esta semana me voy de gira con Willie. Daremos 7 conciertos por toda España, finalizando la gira con su primer concierto en Asturias.
Estaremos en Valencia, Balenyà (Barcelona), Piedrafita (Huesca), Algeciras, Huelva, Madrid y Avilés. En la banda está la sección rítmica de Los Madison, y en Avilés contaremos con la colaboración estelar de Pablo Bertrand.
No te lo pierdas. Y no lo digo yo:
Lo dicen Bruce Springsteen, Bono y The Edge, Lou Reed, Little Steven (E Street Band), Lucinda Williams, Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Pete Townshend (The Who), cineastas como Jim Jarmusch y Martin Scorsese, y un largo etcétera.
Aviso especial a amigos, familiares y asturianos en general: El sábado 14 os espero a todos en Avilés. Las entradas están ya a la venta en cajeros Cajastur, Don Floro (Avilés), Piraña (Gijón) y El Último Mono (Oviedo).

Rock and Roll fits in a 1.50m body!!
I´m still excited about last night concert, Willie and the “best musicians his money can
pay” gave us the concert of the year. About a week ago I had never heard of Mr. Nile
-shame on you, rotten industry!- but got myself “Streets of N.Y.” and I´ve been playing
it ever since. Had to check if in concert was as goog as in the album and for
Jesusf#ckingchrist he is not… he is a thousand times more powerfull. He took us from the hand and gave us a walk arround the streets of NYC we went down to Whashington Sq. and we saw Bo Didley passing by, we talk about the last Administration and the hard times in America, we heard Jimmy Hendrix playing like the devil and met Joey Ramone in our road to Calvary I asked a girl out but can´t remember her name because she was so cold,
oh man! there was some black magic in the atmosphere it´s called ROCK & ROLL!!! So many emotions in one night it´s only possible when you are with one of the big names (Petty, Mellemcamp, the Boss, J. Hyatt, I. Hunter,L. Helm…) but there is something special about Willie it´s probably that he plays from the heart -and we are no longer use to that- he has been compared with Dylan but Willie is not a grumpy old man, he is like an all time friend with whom you want to go for a beer or two after the concert and have a laugh.
Willie you rock, buddie! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
