Playing with Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams in Avilés

On May 24th we had the honour and the pleasure of sharing the stage with Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams at the Avilés Ciudad Dylanita festival. We’re still recovering from the emotion of playing “Ophelia”, “The Weight” and “I Shall Be Released” with them.

I first saw Larry and Teresa in 2008, as part of Levon Helm’s band at one of his Midnight Rambles in Woodstock. I knew about their musical talent, but not yet about their artistic and personal greatness.

Their concert was extraordinary, and I’m going to break out the dictionary here: “Extraordinary: exceptional to a very marked extent”. A delight.

Thank you, Larry and Teresa. We’ll meet again, I’m sure!
