Our first EP
We have always professed our love for the EP (Extended Play) format, and this was our first. The songs called for a live-in-the studio feel, so that’s exactly what we did. The EP had some multimedia content (which probably doesn’t work on any current computer now) that included the video for “Take Me”.

Here She Comes
“Come to me, be my dream
Take me where I want to be
I promise, I won’t change anything
Nothing’s real, all we see
Is just characters and scenes
Tomorrow we’ll figure out what it means”
And here she comes
I can’t stay away
Desire flows along my veins
And there she goes
She won’t fade away
She’s just another ghost
Inside my head
Tried to run, tried to hide
Tried to build a fence with scars
But nothing could keep her out of sight
And I think of all the places I should’ve gone
While I’m rowing in my lonesome rock’n’roll boat
With no friends, no lovers, no luggage
But my songs
And here she comes
I can’t stay away
Desire flows along my veins
And there she goes
She won’t fade away
She’s just another ghost
Inside my head
And I’m dying to burn
My fingers with her flesh
I’m still trying to keep
Her pictures in my head
And here she comes
I can’t stay away
Desire flows along my veins
And there she goes
She won’t fade away
She’s just another ghost
Inside my head
Just Like Yesterday
Cold rain falls over my face as I walk by
A pretty little girl talking on her cell phone
The sidewalk’s too slippery for my cowboy boots
And I forgot my umbrella at some ex-girlfriend’s home
And the evening sky is gray
And the rain keeps slowly falling down
Just like yesterday
I pass a small café, I see the same small crowd
Talking the same small-talk about the same small town
I want to hit the road, I need to see the sunshine
Get lost inside my head and try to find my new song
And the evening turns to night
See the raindrops on the streetlights
Sha la la la la
And tomorrow’s sky’ll be gray
And the rain’ll keep slowly falling down
Just like yesterday
I walk on, watching people live their winter lives
I walk on, searching for my winter song again
Just like yesterday
Paris
We finally made it to Paris
It was our last chance
To explore the ruins
Of what had been our love
And watch them fall apart
As we crashed into each other
In that small room
In rue Beauregard
Now look at me
Alone at this bar
With half a beer
Half-drunk, I feel my sadness
Turns to fear
It’s getting harder to face
Harder to face that you’re not here
The soft breeze of the summer
The colors on the streets
Walking along the Seine
With the doubt creeping in
You disappeared again
You moved out of my world
A lonely night with you
Nothing could be worse
Tonight I walk the streets
Stare for hours at your window
Half in tears
I finally get home before my madness
Feels too real
It’s getting harder to face
Harder to face that you’re not here
And then I wake up
And it’s Sunday
And it’s raining once again…
And you’re not here
